Cryptolaemus Montrouzieri Pack of 25

Cryptolaemus Montrouzieri is a beneficial insect used for natural pest control. Both the larvae and adults actively target mealybugs at all life stages. If food sources are limited, they may also feed on soft scales and aphids. Best introduced from late spring to early autumn.
Application Guidelines:

For greenhouse use, introduce 2-3 adults per square metres.
Apply during cooler parts of the day for optimal effectiveness.
Presence of ants can interfere with their activity, as ants protect mealybugs due to their attraction to honeydew.

Life Cycle & Behavior:

Larvae resemble large, segmented mealybugs and may be seen moving across plants.
Adults lay eggs in mealybug egg masses; larvae hatch and consume all life stages of mealybugs.
Larvae feed on a variety of species, while adults require egg-producing mealybug species for reproduction.

Recommended Usage:

Apply 2-3 per m² on affected plants.
Repeat every two weeks until the beneficial insects are well established.

One pack contains 25 adults and covers up to 10 m².
