Matt Glass Writing Board

. The board is a combination of glass and veneer, both parts are magnetic, (for use only with super-strong magnets)
. You can write on the glass with liquid chalk markers, (or on the white glass with an ordinary whiteboard marker). When the text is dry, it can be easily erased again, using a damp cloth*

The veneer section is made of natural material, and there will therefore be natural variations in surface texture and colour. The surface is affected by light, and will change texture and colour over time.

*Important information regarding cleaning
. The glass surface is ‘acid etched’ to provide a silky matt texture.

As a result it does hold on to the ink more than a traditional glossy glass surface, as the ink sinks into the microscopic recesses that the acid etching process creates. This is why we recommend cleaning with a damp cloth.
. This additional cleaning requirement is the compromise that comes with having a non-glossy surface. However you should be assured that the surface, whilst matt, is still ultimately non-porous, and so any ink residue can be removed, even if it takes a little more effort!

It must be pointed out that abrasive cleaners must not be used, as these can damage the surface of the glass.
