Shield noticeboard features a fire retardant composite core and bonded textile surface, meeting Class 0 fire safety standards (BS 476 Parts 6 & 7) and Class B-s1, d0 (BS-EN13501-1:2002), making it ideal for corridors, escape routes and unsupervised public areas. This tamperproof noticeboard includes lockable clear plastic doors tested separately for fire resistance to Class 1Y (BS 476 Part 7).

It has a satin silver anodised aluminium frame with rounded safety corners and concealed fixings, available with side hinged or top hinged doors. The board is covered in green felt, one of 13 colours including 9 new 'Accents' shades, and is suitable for pins and staples. Wall fixings are included for easy installation.
