Shield noticeboard features a fire retardant composite core and bonded textile surface, meeting Class 0 standards under BS 476 Parts 6 & 7 and Class B-s1, d0 under BS-EN13501-1:2002, making it ideal for corridors, escape routes and large unsupervised public areas. This model has a red felt covering, one of 13 colours including 9 new 'Accents' shades, and a satin silver anodised aluminium frame with rounded safety corners and concealed fixings.

It includes tamperproof lockable clear plastic doors tested separately for fire resistance to Class 1Y under BS 476 Part 7, providing secure display protection. Available with side hinged doors, this board measures 1800 x 1200mm externally with double doors and an internal clearance of 20mm between door and board.
