Shield noticeboard features a fire retardant composite core and bonded textile surface, meeting Class 0 to BS 476 Parts 6 & 7 and Class B-s1, d0 to BS-EN13501-1: 2002. Designed for public buildings and institutions, it provides a secure, tamperproof display with locking clear plastic doors tested separately for fire resistance, conforming to Class 1Y to BS 476 Part 7. This model has side hinged doors and a gold felt covering, one of 13 colours available including 9 new 'Accents' shades.

The satin silver anodised aluminium frame has rounded safety corners and concealed fixings, with an internal clearance of 20mm between door and board. Wall fixings are included, and the board is suitable for pins and staples. Available in sizes 600x900, 900x1200, 1200x900, and 1200x1200mm; smaller sizes have single doors, larger sizes have double doors. The frame width is 25mm, so the visible display area is 50mm less in each dimension (e. g. 900 x 600mm board has 850 x 550mm visible area).
