Shield noticeboard provides a high-quality fire retardant display surface, meeting Class 0 and Class B-s1, d0 fire safety standards. Designed for secure information display in public and institutional environments, it features tamperproof lockable clear doors and a satin silver anodised aluminium frame with rounded safety corners. Certified Fire Retardant. Composite core and bonded textile meet BS 476 Parts 6 & 7 and BS-EN13501-1: 2002 standards, suitable for corridors, escape routes and public areas.

Available in a choice of 13 felt colours including 9 new 'Accents' shades. The noticeboard is offered with side hinged or top hinged doors. Top hinged doors include metal stays to hold doors open, suitable for areas with restricted access such as corridors. Sizes available include 600 x 900mm, 1200 x 900mm and 1200 x 1200mm with single doors; larger sizes feature double doors. The frame width is 25mm; to calculate visible display area, reduce external dimensions by 50mm (e. g. 900 x 600mm external gives 850 x 550mm visible).
