Worried About Plastic Taste? Read This First
Every new plastic water bladder, ours, Camelbak, Hydrapak, Osprey, every single one, has a slight plastic taste on first use. Our bladder is 100% BPA and BPS free, so it is completely safe. The taste is not harmful. It just needs a proper first clean. Fill the bladder with warm soapy water, add a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda and a squeeze of lemon juice, and leave it to soak for 30 to 60 minutes.
