The Mountain Trainer Mid GTX® is a lightweight hiking boot for men, made of durable suede and abrasion-resistant textile material with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® lining.

The shoe has been developed to meet the demands of both climbs and descents in mixed and technical terrain. To this end, the Mountain Trainer Mid GTX uses a new midsole with Bilight technology. It is double-layered for good cushioning and ergonomically shaped - it ensures a good hold in the shoe and reliable wearing comfort even on long hikes.

In the ankle area, the Flex Collar provides greater freedom of movement backwards, and thus great comfort when descending, even with heavy luggage. The lightweight, strong Vibram® Wrapping Thread Combi (WTC) outsole provides a stable yet natural running feel.

The patented SALEWA 3F system provides flexibility, heel support and a blister-free fit right from the start. GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining provides optimal weather protection and climatic comfort.
